dexie is a trading name of CRTYX HOLDINGS LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12383952. References to "dexie", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to CRTYX HOLDINGS LIMITED.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the dexie platform and services available at dexie.io ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property Disclaimer

dexie is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any trading card game publisher, including but not limited to The Pokemon Company, Wizards of the Coast (Magic: The Gathering), Bandai (One Piece Card Game), or Riftbound.

All trading card game names, logos, card images, and related intellectual property are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners. Card images and data are sourced from publicly available APIs and third-party services for informational and reference purposes only.

dexie does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property displayed on the platform. If you are a rights holder and believe your content is being used improperly, please contact us and we will address your concerns promptly.

3. Account Terms

3.1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's consent.

3.2. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.3. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

2.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data without authorisation

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1. dexie offers a free tier and paid Pro subscription. Pricing is displayed on our website and may be updated with reasonable notice.

5.2. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

5.3. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

6. Our Intellectual Property

5.1. The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by dexie and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

5.2. You retain ownership of your collection data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Card Data and Pricing

Card identification results and pricing information are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of card identification or price data. dexie is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on information provided through the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, dexie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

7.3. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

8.1. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us.

8.2. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.

8.3. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
